**was born on January 1, 1943. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 1966 and joined Delhi College of Engineering in 1967 as a lecturer and rose to the post of professor in 1995. Prof. Mr. Bansal has Tech Degree with honors in 1975 from IIT Delhi and Ph. D. from the University of Delhi in 1981. He guided many final year projects, 08 ME and 01 PhD Thesis student . He has published numerous articles and two of his papers Application of FEM to potential flow on a cylinder and the ideal fluid flow FE analysis on a solid axisymmetric obtained a certificate of merit Institution of Engineers (India). Teacher. Bansal has held the position of Head of Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Technology Delhi University from January 1, 2000 on 31.12.2002. He also served as Dean (UG Studies) and Dean (PG studies) in Delhi College of Engineering.Prof. Bansal is the author of numerous engineering works which are followed by***R.
