Readers reviews on Introduction to Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Machines
1.This book is called by some door toppers and now the faculties of my college that this book is really a book Funda compensation for GATE / IES or engineering student to clear the basic concepts of FM .... books like Fluid Mech (FM) FM by white sometimes become difficult to understand because of some difficult words by any reading..but one can pass for Indian students Engg its one of the best book by an Indian author one can go through
* This book is very detailed and narrative .
* Not recommended for the latest study of the night that the information is too overwhelming for the latest study of the night. Many places , the authors themselves pointed out that reading this particular article is not important and can be omitted without loss of continuity.
* Solved examples are few but good.
* Highly recommended for people who want to take their Fluid Mech skills to the next level and get an extra advantage in competitive examinations.
* Also recommended for people who want to do a little research / PhD in fluid mechanics . This book with any other CFD good book will be a good start for such a study of literature. (Collapse)
